Kerry is absolutely the best video camera repairman you can ask for! If you need your mini dv camera fixed whether it be a VX1000 or a DVX100 he will get it done the right way fast! I contacted Video Electronics after digging out my 23 year old VX2000 and finding it wouldn't play tapes properly. I had read about them on Reddit. Kerry was able to repair the camera in only two days for a very reasonable price. The camera is working great again and I can now import DV footage for long term archiving!

I brought over a Teac reel to reel tape recorder that I have had since 1980, and there was a board that was cracked and needed to be replaced. After locating a replacement part (took 5 years of searching) I brought it over to Louis at Video Electronics. It was very delicate work to replace the board as there were a ton of wires to solder, many of them were very thin. Louis called me and said he would attempt to replace the board, but because of the age and the possibility of brittle wires, he could not guarantee his work. I appreciated his honesty in that regard. I took a chance and told him to try, realizing that I might be out a couple hundred bucks. The next day the tape deck was ready to be picked up. When I got it home and tried it, she performed like new! They were very friendly, helpful, and great communication was added to the mix. They get all my electronics repairs from now on. Highly recommended. Thanks Video Electronics for saving a very expensive piece of equipment from the land fill.
